Rights of data subjects

Under the GDPR, everyone has certain rights. We do our best to comply with these. If you have suggestions or comments, please let us know! To exercise your rights, you can contact us via info@doplosser.com.

  • Access and information: You can see which personal data we process about you. We will also gladly explain how and why we process this data.
  • Rectification: If you believe we have incorrect data about you, let us know and we will correct it.

How long do we retain your personal data?

Personal data may not be retained longer than necessary. The retention period depends on the purpose for which the data was collected and any legal obligations to retain data.

If you requested a quote but did not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than two years after our last contact. Similarly, if we received a quote from you but we did not become your customer, your personal data will be deleted no later than two years after the last contact. If you did become a customer, we will retain your personal data for seven years after the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement was fully executed. This seven-year period corresponds to the period we are required to keep our records for tax purposes. After this period, we will delete your personal data.

Legal bases for processing

As explained above, we process some data to fulfill a legal obligation, some to execute a contract, and most to serve the legitimate interest of D’Oplosser: carrying out our objectives. If you want to know more about how we evaluate legitimate interest, please contact us.

Disclosure to third parties

In connection with the execution of an agreement with you, it may be necessary to provide your personal data to parties that supply products and/or services to us or perform work on our behalf. We also use external server space to store parts of our sales and purchasing administration, which includes your personal data. Your personal data is therefore provided to our server space provider.
